DJ DELLACROZ
Born in
Holland, Dellacrozz, became a DJ because he 'liked to
share music with other people. He started in 1996. When
I was younger, I'd listen to a radio show called de
flitsende 50 a radio program where all the best house
hits of the week came along and I just thought - I want
to do this!! I really wanted to produce music that I
could play in my sets, because it brings much more
fulfillment to the process. I bought some samplers, some
computer programs, and just started working on It.’I
began working at a local radio station (Fresh FM) and
had a dance radio show called: Only DJ’s with site kick
John Nieland ( my mentor in that period)there my
feelings for the house music really came to live!! Says
Dellacrozz. Between 2004 and 2008 he stopped working as
a Dj, but Deejaying is in his veins so he went back into
the nightlife and behind the turntables. In 2009
Dellacrozz signed a new record and management deal with
Wicked Entertainment and Management, so Dellacrozz is
back in the clubs en kicking ass again... Dellacrozz
style is now a mix of everything: 'trance, house,
progressive - it's the best of all that the dance world
has to offer. In 1999, I was really a trance DJ, but now
different influences have seeped in and I play a bit of
everything. I think the only way forward for DJs now is
to play a diverse mix of sounds. When I’m on stage I
give it my all, and the people feel my energy, and start
jumping, dancing and singing!! They become ONE with
me... say’s Dellacrozz. Continuing to explore fresh
avenues, knowing that the year 2009 is now in full
swing. Dellacrozz is currently experimenting with new
sounds in the studio, and writing more vocals himself.
'I'm not looking for any big collaboration right now,
I'm more interested in a burgeoning talent – someone
whose voice or producing skills are good, and that
really touches you. A voice or sound should sound like a
vibe or thrill to me. We are working on a live set at
the moment that surely will bring the crowd to a higher
level!! With the new tracks and show developing. He
genuinely enjoys his achievements; Dellacrozz keeps both
feet on the ground: 'It's hard to look too far into the
future. Every couple of months it seems that something
new, unexpected and exciting is happening!' And that’s
live … say’s Dellacrozz with a big smile on his face.
